Hero dogs
Our relationship with dogs has been developed for thousands of years. We call them human's best friends because they are helping us in many ways: from herding ships and other animals (herding dogs) to leading blind people and helping us get through different types of traumas (like PTSD).
Dogs keep us company and ease loneliness for elderly people, making our days better. We are the center of their world and they love us unconditionally, which makes them a good role model for us as humans, to be more kind to each other and altruistic.
Heroes are not only human, but they can also be canine heroes: like the military dogs saving soldiers, therapy dogs increasing our oxytocin levels and helping people get through tough situations in their lives, rescue dogs helping find people through the ruins of a disaster, service dogs that are saving their owners every day by smelling low blood sugar levels (for diabetic people), dogs that are signaling strange sounds for their deaf owners, dogs that retrieve items for people with mobility issues, and dogs that can alert seizures or cardiac episodes.
These dogs are heroes for saving their owners' lives every day.
Except for the dogs that are trained to help people with different tasks, there are also a lot of other dog stories: normal dogs that have saved their owner's lives from an imminent accident or even death.

Killian-The Labrador
Killian-The Labrador
Each and every parent would look everywhere for a competent, dependable, and caring babysitter to care for their child.
When Benjamin and Jordan Hope examined Alexis Khan's profile and previous experiences, they believed they had found the perfect babysitter. They were so sure of her talents that they engaged her in additional babysitting sessions for the next five months.
They had no idea that Killian was aware of the actual dangers lurking beyond Khan.
In reality, Khan was an aggressive babysitter who often scolded and slapped the kid, occasionally causing harm. To warn his owners of this tragedy, he began to act aggressively whenever Khan came by for the job, staying near to the infant.
On one occasion, he attempted to assault her, and the parents had to remove Killian from the babysitter.
Fortunately, they began to have concerns about Killian's behavior and buried a phone behind the sofa. The recording just reinforced their worst fears.
Alexis Khan was caught, convicted, and her name was added to the child abuser registry as a result of Killian's activities. Killian had spared a baby's life while also unknowingly preventing any future children from being harmed by her.

Maya-The Pitbull
Maya-The Pitbull
There are a lot of stories of superhero dogs saving their owners from an imminent accident that might have occurred after the breaking of intruders in people's houses.
Angela had just returned home from her birthday celebration when a dark figure from behind rushed forward and attacked her, ultimately reaching out to strangle her after she screamed to frighten him off. Fortunately for her, Maya felt her threat and came to her help. In a bold attempt to chase off the attacker, the typically calm and collected Pitfall began chewing on his arm.
He tried to fight off Maya with one hand while strangling Angela with the other.
Maya, on the other hand, seemed to be too much for the aggressor, and he ultimately withdrew. Anthony Easley, the attacker, was captured a few months later when a blood sample from Maya was examined.
Maya gained remarkable recognition when the incident became public, and she was voted hero dog of the year in 2008.

The story of Endal-The Labrador
Endal was a British male Labrador retriever whose talents as a service dog and as an advocate for service dog humanitarian work earned international media attention.
Endal has been regarded as the most awarded dog in the world (including "Dog of the Millennium" and the PDSA Gold Medal for Animal Gallantry and Devotion to Duty, the highest honor possible to an animal), as well as probably the most recognized assistance dog in the UK.
He was filmed by over 340 film teams from across the world and has a number of global first medals to his credit as a service dog.
Endal was a yellow Labrador Retriever with a pedigree. Endal was born with the severe joint ailment osteochondrosis (interruption of the blood supply to the bone) in both of his front legs, which called his eligibility for assistance dog training into doubt. Endal, on the other hand, qualified as a fully operable and licensed assistance dog despite only being partially trained by the organization Canine Partners for Independence.
In the late 1990s, he became the service dog for handicapped ex-Royal Navy Chief Petty Officer Allen Parton.
Endal's celebrity led to him being an animal spokesperson for service dog training and organizations.

The story of Endal-The Labrador
The coat is thick, glossy, silky, and shining, and it falls gently along the body with no curls or undercoat. The color is pure white, although a slight ivory tint is allowed. Adults typically weigh 3–4 kg. Males are slightly taller than females 20–23 cm.
The Maltese has no shedding.
Maltese, like other white canines, may have tear streaks.
Stanley Coren ranks it 59th out of 79 breeds for intellect.
Despite his little stature, the Maltese appears fearless. His trustworthiness and caring responsiveness are charming. He is one of the gentlest-mannered of all little dogs, yet he is also active, playful, and vigorous.
Maltese are versatile, energetic, and delightful toy friends. A tiny body moves with a fluid and elegant step beneath the all-white mantle. The overall effect is one of free-flowing grace and harmony. The appealing Maltese face, with its huge, dark eyes and black gumdrop nose, may win over even the most hardened heart.
Maltese, despite their aristocratic appearance, are tough and adaptable dogs. They make vigilant watchdogs who are fearless in a delightful toy-dog sense, and they are competitive tiny agility athletes. Maltese are low-shedding, long-lived dogs who like meeting new people of all ages. They might be difficult and rebellious at times, but they respond well to reward-based teaching.

Endal-an incredible dog
Endal had to be put down on March 13, 2009, at the age of thirteen and just days after his last Crufts appearance, because his age had finally caught up with him. He'd had a stroke, and his arthritis had become worse over time. Endal is placed at the Ilford PDSA Animal Cemetery, which also holds the ashes of twelve prior dogs who received the PDSA Dickin Medal, the predecessor of the Gold Medal. Endal was mentoring a yellow Labrador puppy named EJ (Endal Junior) who was in training at the time during his final time.
Allen Parton was Endal's owner. Parton suffered serious head injuries while serving with the Royal Navy in the Gulf in 1991, including 50 percent memory loss and the inability to reliably make new memories for more than 2 days (for example, not recognizing his 7-year-old neighbor), physical disability (he was a wheelchair user), speech and word difficulties, inability to perceive materials out of his sight, and inability to safely judge traffic speed and distance. He couldn't talk for a long time after pairing with Endal and had to rely on basic sign language.
Parton stated in 2008, in response to a photograph of Endal, that one of his greatest concerns was that he would forget what Endal looked like in ten years. In honor of Endal, Parton established Hounds for Heroes in February 2010 to assist men and women injured in the UK Armed Forces and Emergency Services.
Endal was able to respond to over a hundred instructions as well as a significant number of signed requests hundreds. He was able to fetch products from shop shelves, operate buttons and switches, and load and unload a washing machine. He could insert a card into a cash machine, recover the card after the operation was through, and return the card to a wallet.
Endal-an incredible dog
Endal-an incredible dog
A slightly rounded cranium, black snout, drop ears, dark, attentive eyes, short, straight legs, and a beautiful tail finish out the picture. He's a nice, clever dog that loves his family. And, as one of the tiniest toy breeds, he's ideal for apartment or condo life. The Maltese responds to his surroundings and serves as an efficient watchdog wherever he stays.
Despite their delicate and noble appearance, Maltese may be rather energetic. If they are rewarded for their accomplishments, they learn rapidly. Maltese demand a lot of human care and suffer from separation anxiety due to their lengthy history as companion dogs. They can bark and become destructive if left alone for several hours each day.
No breed is flawless, and Maltese may be aggressive against small children or other dogs, especially if they have been too spoiled by their owners. If this happens, they might become highly defensive, barking and even biting if they view an animal or a person as a danger to their bond with their loving human family.
However, because Maltese are so little and easily harmed, they are not a suitable choice for households with small children. They, like other dogs, must be taught their right role in the family, as well as adequate socialization and basic obedience training.

Endal and Allen
Endal and Allen
Endal's capacity to understand Parton's preferences and needs was evident when they first met, and he credits Endal with helping him recover from the first severe depression and distress caused by his condition.
Endal gained national notoriety again in 2001 when a passing automobile pushed Parton out of his wheelchair outside a hotel. Endal pushed Parton into the recovery position, recovered his phone from behind the car, retrieved a blanket from the upturned wheelchair and covered him, alert barked at a neighboring hotel for rescue but received no response, and then dashed to the hotel for assistance.
Endal is also known as the first canine to ride the London Eye, a massive Ferris wheel, and the first dog known to be capable of using an ATM card, including card insertion and removal.
When I couldn't speak, he taught me sign language — if I touched my head, I wanted my hat, if I touched my face, I wanted the razor. He mastered hundreds of signing commands. In this incredibly silent environment we lived in, I eventually groaned. He was so delighted that it seemed like an electric jolt went through him. They claimed I'd never talk again, but Endal just dragged the speech from me.
Endal has learned over the years to pull the plug out of the bath before calling for help if Parton falls unconscious while bathing, and is able to place Parton in the recovery position, dial an emergency number, and summon rescue... Endal has learned to operate both chip and PIN ATMs, as well as assist with shopping, opening train doors, working elevators, unloading the washing machine, and more traditional canine abilities such as getting the paper.

Toby-The Golden Retriever
Toby-The Golden Retriever
A dog using the Heimlich Maneuver (abdominal thrusts) to save his owner's life: is quite unbelievable, but it did happen.
Debbie Parkhurst, 45 at the time of the event, was eating an apple when a large part of it became trapped in her throat. She performed a Heimlich Maneuver on herself first, but she was unable to extract the piece and was forced to pound her own chest.
Fortunately for her, Toby, her 2-year-old Golden Retriever, saw and ended up taking the lead. He promptly sprang to his back feet, dragged his owner to the ground, and began forcefully hopping up and down her tummy. The apple piece was ultimately coughed out of Mrs.throat, Parkhurst's saving her life.
Apart from the injuries caused by Toby's actions in saving her life, she was unharmed and grateful for her dog's reaction.

Brutis-The Golden Retriever
Brutis-The Golden Retriever
Brutis, a 7-year-old golden retriever, bravely protected a little boy from a poisonous coral snake that was dangerously near to him. He promptly grabbed the snake and ran before the serpent could reach the kid. As a result, Brutis had a near-fatal bite from the snake but recovered completely. Coral snakes are one of the most toxic snakes in North America, and if it bit the boy, it might have been fatal. Fortunately, Brutis did not hesitate for a second longer and took the risk regardless.
His bravery was recognized, and he was taken to Los Angeles to earn the National Hero Dog award.

Animals are also capable of showing kindness towards people they love.
Clobberhead genuinely saved a possibly fatal tragedy two months after being adopted by the Cramer family. With his ever-efficient nose, he could tell right away that something was off in the home.
He demonstrated several unusual behaviors in an attempt to attract his owner's attention, such as avoiding a specific area or refusing to leave the house.
Finally, one of the family members, Erin Cramer, noticed the peculiar behavior and decided to investigate. Clobberhead led the way, leading her to some startling revelations.
She uncovered two serious flaws in her home: a gas leak and a sparking hot water heater. These two threats together would have devastated not just her house, but also the houses of her neighbors.
He saved several houses and lives that day.

Shana-The German Sheperd/Wolf Mix
Shana-The German Sheperd/Wolf Mix
Eve and Norman Fertig, an elderly couple, were caring for animals in their shelter facilities when an unexpected snowfall caught them 200 feet away from home and in freezing conditions.
Fortunately for them, Shana was there to rescue them. She carried the pair through 200 feet of snow in an attempt to get them back to warmth and safety. She even stayed behind after the difficult crawl to keep the pair warm and secure until the firemen came.
Of course, she got tremendous acclaim for her heroic actions, and she was later given the Citizens for Humane Animal Treatment's Hero's Award, which is normally intended for humans.

Belle-The Beagle
A dog saves their owner's life by calling 911.
During this period, Kevin Weaver had diabetes and relied on a trained beagle named Belle to help him with a variety of tasks, including constantly monitoring his blood sugar level. He fainted after suffering a violent seizure one day. In an incredible moment, our canine hero grabbed the nearest phone and managed to dial the numbers '911'.
Her owner was finally rescued as a result of her courageous efforts. Belle has subsequently received the VITA Wireless Samaritan Award for her heroism, which is granted to someone who uses a cellular cellphone to save a life, prevent a crime, or assist in an emergency.
She is the award's first canine recipient.
"There's no question in my mind that I'd be dead if it didn't have Belle," Weaver said, adding that he had since recovered from his symptoms.
Roselle-The Labrador
During the 9/11 tragedy, many heroes stepped forward, including one extremely remarkable Labrador Retriever called Roselle. She had been trained as a guide dog for the blind and had been paired with an owner called Michael Hingson.
They were at the WTC (World Trade Center) building one day when the awful occurrence occurred: two hijacked planes smashed into the structure, leaving it a collapsing, towering fire. Because Hingson was disabled, he clearly fought to exit the building, and his attempts appeared to be useless.
Roselle, on the other hand, bravely went into action. Roselle actually led her owner and 30 others out of the building, using and directing them via the stairwell to make a hasty escape.
She was unfazed when the rubble fell and many were hurt; she remained focused on the mission and ultimately led the people out with the assistance of other fire-rescue members they met along the route. Roselle even got her owner back to his house via train and pretended as if nothing had occurred once they arrived, even trying to cheer him up by playing with him.
Of course, her efforts were not unnoticed. She gained significant acclaim and multiple prizes for her bravery, including the Dickin Medal, and was named American Hero Dog of the year in 2011. Hingson was inspired by her acts to write "Thunder Dog: The True Story of a Blind Man, His Guide Dog, and the Triumph of Trust at Ground Zero."
Eve-The Rottweiler
This story takes place in 1991 when Katie Vaughn, a 41-year-old disabled woman, had just started to smell smoke in the automobile, which was obviously an extremely questionable indicator. Her suspicions were confirmed when she noticed smoke coming from the engine area.
She tried to leave by building her folding wheelchair, but the smoke became too heavy, overpowering her. Fortunately, her Rottweiler was there to assist her. She hurriedly grabbed her by the leg and dragged her out of the vehicle before it caught fire and exploded.
Fortunately, they arrived just in time, and Mrs.Vaughn received no injuries, however, Eve received some burns on the pads of her paws as a result of her heroic effort.
Loving dogs
Dogs will always be our best friends and bring us joy and love. This is why is important to treat them equally and nurture them with love and care as they do for us.
They might save our lives one day if they can, in the blink of an eye, without thinking of the risks they can put themselves in. Dogs are beneficial, they increase our oxytocin levels every day by petting them or when we look at each other with love and care-they bring love to our universe.

Opt for 1/4 to 1/2 cup of high-quality dry food each day, split into two meals.
Avoid obesity in your Maltese by measuring his food and feeding him twice a day rather than leaving food available all the time. Give him a physical examination to see whether he's becoming overweight.
Place your hands on his torso, with your thumbs down his spine and your fingers spread out across his sides. If you can feel his ribs, he's in good shape; if they're hidden behind a layer of fat, it's time to put him on a diet and reduce the number of goodies you give him.
Several Maltese have sensitive stomachs and may be fussy eaters. Eating issues might arise if your Maltese also has tooth or gum disease. Take your Maltese to the veterinarian if he is uncomfortable during eating or after eating.
The amount of food your adult dog consumes is determined by his size, age, structure, metabolism, and exercise levels. Dogs, like people, are individuals who do not require the same quantity of food. It needs to be noted that an active dog will require more than a sedentary dog. The quality of dog food y is also important.,because you don't need to give him so much if it is high quality, which means it contains everything he needs in a small quantity.

Dogs will always be our best friends and bring us joy and love. This is why is important to treat them equally and nurture them with love and care as they do for us.
They might save our lives one day if they can, in the blink of an eye, without thinking of the risks they can put themselves in.
Dogs are beneficial , they increase our oxytocin levels every day by petting them or when we look at each other with love and care-they bring love to our universe.
